Have you inherited a property and cannot fund works until foam has been cleared?
Since 2010 spray foam has been sold as a solution to variety of issues, however long term Spray Foam can lead to a number of unforeseen problems.
Also most mortgage lenders, will not lend money against a property with Spray Foam in situ in the loft space. This is because it can lead to damage to the timbers supporting the roof structure. Any damage that may occur, is unseen due to the covering of the Spray Foam. There is also concern that the timber’s ability to breathe is reduced, which lends itself to the process of becoming damaged.
If you are concerned about your loft, please get in touch and one of our experts will be on hand to offer any advice.
We will even carry out a free survey/ inspection.
We have successfully carried out multiple extractions of both Open and Closed Cell Spray Foam. We have done this, whilst maintaining the integrity of the felt and timbers and have passed inspections by an independent surveyor prior to the sale of the dwelling or re-mortgaging.
We offer a completion certificate at the end of every job.
We bring pride and passion to every project that we undertake, with a professional team of designers, project managers and tradespeople.
